4-11-09. In addition my sinuses are becoming chronic and draining severely. I know lots of people are having sinus problems, however mine are draining into my lungs and causing phnenomia. I can not rest for the sickness, including the chronic pain ... less than a couple of hours every day for the past ten days. I know that if GOD CAN MOVE THAT BOULDER, AND ARISE UP FROM THE DEAD, GOD IS AND ALWAYS HAS US IN HIS CONTOL. He did not give up on me ... May will be 3 years ago that He miraculously healed me. He will take care of his children. I have the FAITH AND HAVE ALREADY PUT IT IN HIS HANDS, FOR I KNOW THAT GOD WILL SEE ME THROUGH THIS ALSO ... AS WELL AS THE DOVE BROTHERS. URGENT!!!
"Our landlord has a friend named James Rodriguez that went in for some type of hernia operation. During the procedure they accidently cut his stomach. He is now in ICU at New Hanover Hospital. He is in need of much prayer. The situation is not good. But, we know who can turn these situations around! Thank you Jesus! and Thank you for your prayers!

"It is with much regret that I inform everyone that inmate Timothy Helms medical condition continues to decline. Per his family, he still can not sit on his own, or feed himself. As many know, Timothy Helms has been hospitalized at Central Prison since August 2008, due to being beaten almost to death by prison guards. He substained brain damage, along with paralyzing injuries, while being beaten with handcuffs and shackles on. He only has an IQ of 79, has been diagnosed with numerous mental disorders since age 10, and was in solitary confinement at Alexander Correctional when this incident occured. This man needs a healing miracle and I know that my God can make it happen. Please pray that the Lord will reveal all the officers involved in this tragic incident, that these officers will repent and that justice will prevail, pray for strength for his brother Mike and all the family members, pray for Tim's healing to come forth and that he be released immediately, and pray that the Lord will give us wisdom in dealing with the family through this crisis.

Dove Brothers Early this morning we received a call that our piano player, Jerry Kelso's son was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. Brandon Kelso, age 22 was riding on his motorcycle and a car pulled out in front of him. It was said that the road conditions were wet which may have lead to the accident. This happened in Kentucky where Brandon recently moved. He was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina which is where the funeral services will be held.

"The Dove Brothers and Martin Family would like to ask for you to please remember Jerry Martin, our tenor vocalist in prayer. Jerry will be having surgery to remove a hernia that developed over a year ago. It has now got to the point where something had to be done. As you may know, a singer uses their diaphram and abdomin muscles more than most people to support the notes that they sing. That is very important to a singer and once that it damaged, it can cause some problems. Jerry will have the surgery to fix this problem April 8th (wednesday) and asks that you pray for him during the operation and afterwards while he recovers fully."

" Update on Jerry. The surgery went fine & he is home resting the best he can. The doctor said the hernia was huge. They did not know it was that big until they got in there. He ended up with a 4 inch wide abdominal incision. Ouch.. Needless to say, per doctors orders, he will not be singing for a few weeks. There will be someone filling in for him while he recovers. He couldn't sing right now if he had to! Thank you for all the prayers.Please continue to pray that Jerry has a speedy recovery!

Filling in for him will be Brian Arp from Greenville, NC. Continue to pray for Jerry's speedy recovery, Jerry Kelso & his family and the Dove Brothers continued ministry.
