URGENT!!!
Please remember Joey, 17 year old friend of our sons. Joey was the driver of the car carrying four other teen friends early Friday am, May 7. An 18 year old passenger died, one is in ICU, and two were treated and have since been released. Joey remains in New Hanover Hospital following the accident. He suffers with a punctured lung and broken arm, but most importantly emotionally as he tries to process and realize what all happened. Please lift him in prayer! Praise the Lord, he apparently was NOT drinking alcohol while driving.
We are in this thing together! The Prayer & Praise Update started via email in January 2007 with a few concerned friends ... We now have over a hundred prayer partners representing the following states: NC, SC, OK, MO, CT, and PA … praying and believing in one accord! PRAISE THE LORD! Kenny Jr went to see Joey and Caleb today ... Joey's chest tube removed today and he's doing good. He may get to go home on Tuesday, May 12 or Wednesday, May 13. Please keep praying!
Kenny told me tonight that Joey is having problems with his blood pressure going up and bad headaches. He knows Caleb is still in the hospital, but doesn't know how bad off he is. He is very remorseful, and has even apologized to Kenny Jr, stating he didn't mean for it to happen that way. With Caleb's condition turning for the worse tonight, Joey will definitely need our prayers! Let's lift this young man up to the throne room!
From what I've been told, Joey went in to see Caleb over in the night last night. He now knows about Jake and Caleb. Today, he has had high blood pressure, bad headaches, and has not been able to quit throwing up. They are apparently running more tests on him to make sure nothing else is wrong ... let's pray hard for Joey, as well as all the others involved.
