URGENT!!!
REC'D VIA EMAIL ON 03/07/09 FROM DEBBIE:
(Dee is also a student at West Brunswick with our sons. He just recently placed 4th in the state in wrestling.)
"Our neighbor just called. Their 15 yr. old son, Dee was hit on the road last night around 11. He is now in surgery in Greenville. They do not know if he is going to live. Please pray right now for this boy and his family and agree with us that he shall live and NOT die and declare the works of the Lord! In the Name of Jesus!

REC'D VIA EMAIL ~6:15PM ON 3/7/09:
"I just came from Bobby's house. His mom and dad live there also. I talked with his mom, Ruby. The last she heard they replaced 2-3" of the main valve in his chest. They want to operate on him again to try to save his arm, but he is not stable enough yet. He is still in a coma and in critical condition. The hospital evidently has somewhere for family to stay in situations like this, so Bobby & Tammy (Dee's mom & dad) are able to stay with Dee. Please continue praying! In the Name of Jesus!
Thanks,
Debbie & James"
REC'D VIA EMAIL FROM DEBBIE AT 03/08/09 AT 10PM:
"Hey Chrisa,
Just heard from Bobby. Dee was coming back from the store on 17 when he was hit. Just happened a lot of paramedics were hanging out at the store. (That would be just like God to have help right there!) He is still in critical condition, however, there have been some small improvements. ex. They were cleaning road debris from a wound today and he flinched like he felt pain. Praise God for flinches! He has an open wound from the center of his chest that goes around his back. They have not been able to close this yet. They are considering operating to save his arm. He still needs much prayer as well as his family. I'll let you know as I hear more."
REC'D FROM DEBBIE VIA EMAIL ON 03/10/09:
"Just talked with Dee's grandma. They operated on his arm. Had to stop on the first surgery. But, went back later and were able to finish the surgery. They don't know if he will be able to use it, but were happy they were able to save it. (But, God...!!!) Dee opened one eye this morning and looked at his dad!!! Praise God for open eyes!!!
He is still in a coma. The doctors are trying to keep him in this so he will not feel the pain, according to his grandmother. He is still in critical condition. Bobby's (Dee's dad) boss has given him off the whole month so he can be at the hospital with his wife - Tammy and Dee. What a great boss! I'll let you know more as I find out! Praise God for ALL He is doing!!!
Thank you so much for your prayers. Please keep them going.
Many, Many Blessings to you in the Name of Jesus!
Debbie"

I SPOKE WITH CHERI ON 3/19/09. SHE HAD BEEN TO VISIT WITH DEE AT HIS HOME; HERE'S HER REPORT:
Dee is able to move around some and actually moved his fingers on the hand of the arm that had to be reattached. Doctors were not expecting him to be able to gain much use of it, but we know God is able and willing! Dee has LOTS of staples and will have some therapy to go through. He is out of school for the remainder of this school year, but went up to watch his teammates at wrestling practice this week! What an inspiration!
*Please note the post re: Tammy. This is actually Dee's mom and she really needs prayer!
