Sharon Danielle Carrick, MO

Received via email on 4/16/08 from Marie:

URGENT REQUEST!!!
"Please pray for Sharon Danielle Carrick, a 2 day old infant. She was born with a narrow rectum and part of her large intestine is too narrow and she also has only 2 heart valves instead of the normal 3. Please please lift her up and in prayer and her mommy and daddy, Jon and Christie. They are going to do surgery on her by Friday, unless they have to do emergency surgery sooner. Jon and Christie have 2 other children and this is also quite a strain on them financially. I appreciate the prayers and will send an update as soon as I hear something. I know God is able to make a 3rd valve and to open up her intestines and rectum."

Received via email from Marie on 4/23/08:

"Sharon had surgery on Friday the 18th of April and came through it just fine. They have put a colostomy bag on this sweet little baby until she heals completely from the surgery they did on her intestines and rectum. She needs continued prayers that she will not develop any infections with this colostomy bag or where they operated before her next surgery to remove the colostomy bag.

Please pray as Sharon's mom, Christie, has lost her job, due to being with the baby and being unable to work. She has been by the baby's side through thick and thin.

Also remember in prayer, Jon, Sharon's daddy, as he had a car wreck. He is also now the sole provider for the home. There are also 2 other children and the family needs the Lord to provide another vehicle, for Christie to be able to take care of the kids without any problems and for this family to come to know Christ in a new way. Please pray for their spiritual well-being!

Thank you all so much for the continued prayers."
