URGENT!!!
Received via email on 4/20/08 from Ashley:
"I wanted to put in a prayer request for my Aunt Helen. She went the doctor a couple months ago and they found several fractures in her back and her ribs. So, they put cement in her back because her spinal cord was collapsing. She was originally 5'9" and she is now less than 5 feet tall. They thought it was osteoporosis but, now they are not sure because of the MRI they did on her april 14th. It showed three more broke vertebrates in her lower back and a tumor growing on the bone in her right arm. She is showing all signs of melanoma cancer. She is going tomorrow (4-21-08) for a biopsy to find out if the tumor is malignant or benign. She is in severe pain at all times and no pain medication is helping. She can't stand it when you touch her and she can't walk by herself or really do anything by herself. Please be in prayer for her and our family. We would really appreciate it.

"she was in and out of sleep the whole time I was over there. the doctors did more tests on her. I think mama said they did a bone marrow test. supposedly it will tell us just how bad the cancer really is. I believe the results will be in next week. she isn't looking to good and her skin had a yellow tint to it. i don't know if that means anything but, it can't be good. i'll let you know what the results say next week. thanks for all your prayers. keep her kids in your prayers too. the little boy is 4 and the girl is 12. "... we saw Helen today. She looked pretty good considering her condition. We sang a few songs for her... it was pretty difficult. Mary (her mother) did say that she has right many tumors though. We're all praying for her here - God has a purpose, though we may not understand. We just have to trust Him."

URGENT!!!
Ashley said the doctor has come in to have her Aunt Helen sign papers regarding life support. He told them it could be anytime now, and they need the paperwork in place in case her heart stops. Ashley asks that we continue to pray for them during this most difficult time ... She has a 13 year old daughter and a 5 year old son, her husband, as well as other family and friends.
REMINDER: Last year on 7/15/08, the doctor told Helen she would be lucky to have 6 months to live, to which Ashley declared, "... but, I know a God that can prove all doctors wrong! what about you? I really do appreciate all of your prayers. -Ashley"
GOD IS GREAT AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED! AMEN!
