Preston Lloyd, NC

I just wanted to let some of you know about this prayer request. Preston Lloyd is a 4 year old boy whose grandfather accidentally backed over him on the lawn mower this week. At this time, Preston is in the PICU at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte (yes - same PICU where I used to work. We see a lot of these injuries this time of year but it never makes it any less heart-breaking). My understanding is that Preston has lost his spleen, left kidney, and part of his left lung and that his esophagus was torn from his stomach among other injuries. He has had to have much reconstructive surgery done on his internal organs. ANYWAY. Please pray for Preston, for the entire Lloyd family, and for Preston's grandfather.
