Crennan, MO

URGENT!!!
REC'D VIA EMAIL FROM MARIE PARKER IN MISSOURI ON 9/16/08:

"Chrisa,
Got this from my sister and I'm asking for prayer for this young man. Please add him to the prayer list.

'Please put our neighbor's grandson in your prayer circle. His name is Crennan, he's 18 and has spina bifida. He graduated from high school last year. He's confined to a wheelchair, and is such a sweet "kid". He's had several shunts put in his head to reduce the pressure on his brain in the past. This past week, he went into convulsions and was unresponsive. They took him to the hospital and he's in ICU - they're going to do surgery to see if he's bleeding in his brain or something. His grandmother came over as we were leaving today and was about to cry, her hands were shaking, and she said Crennan needs all the prayers he can get.'"

REC'D VIA EMAIL ON 9/28/08 FROM MARIE:

"Chrisa, just got this from my sister who is close to the family:

The last time I talked to his grandmother, he was still on the ventilator. He can't talk, of course, and she said he seems to realize they are there. I'm sure they have him drugged up so being on the ventilator won't bother him as much. Thank you all for praying! I know his family appreciates it, too.
Please please keep praying!"

REC'D VIA EMAIL FROM MARIE ON 11/15/08:

"Here's what my sis said in her email to me Oct. 23rd. I will ask her for another update when she's available. (might not be for a couple of days):

As for Crennan - I just talked to his grandpa yesterday. He's in a rehab. facility and is off the ventilator. He can't see, but seems to know when people are in the room. He can't talk, either, and I'm not sure why. I hated to ask too many questions, but it sounds like he's had some improvement.

So we're still praying hard for him. Thank everyone for their prayers, please. I'm sure the family appreciates them!

REC'D VIA EMAIL FROM MARIE ON 1/14/09:

"My sister sent this on. Please keep this young man in your prayers!

I wanted to let you know that the prayers for Crennan evidently are helping. Debbie talked to his grandfather today and he said Crennan is home now. He's wearing a halo, but is able to talk and lift his arm, and is gaining strength every day. He's supposed to go back to the doctor this week and is hoping to get the halo removed. Thank you for your prayers!"

REC'D VIA EMAIL FROM MARIE ON 2/18/09:

"Chrisa, I got this from my sister regarding Crennan:

Crennan is doing OK, I think. We ask about him every time we talk to his grandparents (we haven't in a little while, though). I'm sure we would have heard if the news was bad. Thank everyone for praying for him - he's had a rough life all the way around and it just seems terribly unfair that this happened to him on top of everything else."
