Anthony, VA

URGENT!! RECEIVED VIA EMAIL FROM TINA PAXTON ON 8/17/08:

"I'd like to ask for prayer for the grandson of my biochemistry professor. He lives in Pennsylvania and his grandson is in Virginia (Northern Virginia...just outside DC). He is my professor at the Univ. of Bridgeport (CT) and is also a professor at a Univ in PA. The infant's name is Anthony and he was born with several severe birth defects. Doctors aren't holding out hope for him. He coded last night but was revived. My professor covets the prayers of as many saints as possible for his little angel."

REC'D THIS FORWARD FROM TINA PAXTON ON 8/26/08:

"He is still on oxygen, the parents are still with him day and night in the hospital, and there are feeding issues, which are dangerous. It has been very difficult, but my
daughter is a woman of Faith, and we hope he will survive this."

REC'D VIA EMAIL FROM TINA ON 9/1/08:

"I wanted to send an update on baby Anthony. My professor sent me an email with this update:

'My grandson coded twice, and his life is in danger. My daughter and [her] husband are loving saints. They stayed with him in the hospital in Delaware following a surgery for 11 days and nights, brought him home, and he stopped breathing again in the car and required CPR to save him. Also he will need a feeding tube forever. He has more than cerebral palsy, but that alone makes it hard to swallow, and thus he has been aspirating. Thanks for the prayers and friendship, Charles'

Please continue to pray for Anthony and his parents. Pray that God's healing power will be manifested in a mighty way. My professor and his daughter are Catholic but they are, as my professor says, "Christian Catholics" or "Believing Catholics"."
