URGENT!!!
"I have a friend at work that just found out her husband has colon cancer and the doctors told him that he had about 2 years with chemo/radiation, surgery and chemo after surgery to live. Would you keep them in your thoughts and prayers. She is 40 and he is 46.

"Joyce and John are coping with his cancer. It's very hard on both of them. He is still going to chemo and should be done with that soon and will find out whether it has shrunk enough to operate. I can't remember if I told you that he is in stage 4 with the cancer or not. Not good at all. She trys really hard to have a positive attitude but sometimes it gets the best of her. She works as much as it allows her too. Actually, beginning next week past of her job will be to be my relief at the front."

"not good..they were going to operate because of the pain he was in but they can't...it's not an option now. He has a pain medication patch and he also takes pain pills. He is still going through chemo for now...every other Monday as long as his blood count is ok...it's really sad."

"I don't know much on John, Joyce is staying at home with him now. I did hear that he was trying yet another chemo therapy...I don't know anything about it...just that it was another kind. They felt like it would be better if Joyce stay home with him now...he didn't want strangers with him...I am going to try to call her today and will let you know if I find out anything else.
Thanks for posting this...Prayers are great!"

"I thought I would send you an update on John Lindsey. His wife works with me and he has cancer. I just got off the phone with her. She told me that she had to have him admitted to the hospital on Tuesday of this week. He is confused, very weak...needs assistance doing anything at this point. She did say the doctors said that is was a matter of weeks that he had left. She is very tired. Their son is having problems in school trying to deal with this. Please keep them in your prayers."
REC'D VIA EMAIL FROM BRENDA ON 4/1/09:
"John was in the hospital for several days and finally went home Monday or Tuesday. Hospice has been called in and when he went home, they took oxgyen home with him. It doesn't sound good. He is on morphine all the time also. Please keep them in your prayers. John and Joyce son graduates this year."
We have been praying for John since July 2007 as he fought his battle with cancer. I received a call from my mom tonight to let us know that he passed away this am. Let's lift his family in prayer ... His wife has not worked for ~2 months so she could be home with him, and their son is to graduate this year.
