Carolyn Powell, NC
Carolyn is suffering with blood circulation problems. Ulcers formed on her feet … one foot healed up, but the other hasn’t. The main arteries in her leg are not carrying blood to her foot. The doctors have suggested several options, the last being to close off those arteries. I don’t have many details, but this is serious as she has also been told she may lose her foot. She is obviously very upset about this. Let’s pray and believe God to work for her. (Carolyn is Pastor Kenneth Powell’s mother.)

"We went to the doctor a couple of days ago and got good news that the spots on her lungs were not cancerous and that the doctors feel there is no big reason to worry about doing a biopsy. She does well with her legs some days but then there are others that are just terrible. The spots on her face are clearing up some but when she gets stressed or just feels like she's at whit's end, they just reappear. She's still having some problems with her swallowing, even after the stretching of her esophagus, so we are still having her see the GI Doctor. That's about all the news I have right now but I will send more as we get more information."

"Nanny is doing okay. She was sick with a nasty nasty bug that we thought was pneumonia but luckily she has recovered. She is still seeing the G.I. Doctor, the Pulmonary Doc, and all of her other doctors. She still struggles with her feet and the CRESTS syndrome but she keeps her head up."
